Android Phones Hot, Domestic Brands Follow Up Actively

The latest data from ChangeWave Research displayed, in the past months, the number of Android mobile phones users increased significantly; furthermore, the attitudes users towards to Android also appear active changes.

ChangeWave Research’s data showed, to December, 2009, there was 4 percent smartphone users used Android operating system, which rise by 200% than September. The research institution also proceeded a survey to users who plan to purchase smart mobile phones in the future.

Under the good environment of Android phones, domestic mobile phones also have their positive follow-up plans.

In the two-year time, the number of OHA members, established dominantly by Google Company, rise rapidly; among the members, there also appear a great many enterprises from China Mainland and China Taiwan. So far, domestic top 3 carriers, ZTE, Quidway and some other service providers from wee fields of industry chain have joined the alliance already. According to the statistics, OHA Chinese members have reached 12, nearly accounted for one fifth of total membership.

From industry development angle, Android industry’s rapid spread in China presented a certain market demand. Among the Chinese OHA members, whether terminal manufacturers or service providers, they have no advantages in the market share of terminal fields, furthermore, there is a far discrepancy to cellphones customized tightness between domestic carriers and foreigners. Therefore, most of Chinese members play a challenging role in the global market. Titan’s choice made OHA development in China clearer—the joinin of Quidway, ZTE, Lenovo etc. domestic terminal firms as well as domestic top 3 carriers made many industries’ relevant links manufactures catch sight of trend, therewith, OEMs, chip manufacturers and mobile phones suite applications firms join continuously.

Cellphone fans’ support to Android phones makes lots of manufactures launched new phones one after another; domestic brand Hisense was unwilling to lag behind, too. Recently, its smartphone HS-E90 carried Android system appeared on the website of MIIT Telecommunication Equipment CA. moreover, domestic tycoon ZTE also expressed recently, ZTE would join Android group, and it would publish mobile phones carrying Google mobile operating system in the first quarter. CCSInsight analyst Geoff Blaber thought, ZTE new phones can pull down all the Android smart phones’ price.

As a mature cellphone wholesale drop shipper, cellphone-china. com considers that the current one-up Android will not always be in the lead continuously; can Android set up supremacy finally? There still need a long time. After all, there are more and more strong competitors.
